Finally the latest chapter of Ernest Demon is up and running.  There's been some slowage due to lots of things which I won't bother you with, but the chapter is up.  A surprise is coming next chapter and hopefully this arc and the volume will soon be done.

A tomoto is not a potato

Okay so it's not a new chapter, but it's definitely over due.  The Story and Characters page for Ernest Demon is updated.  So now there's more to read.  It's funny how that's the page that gets more views.  Hopefully it has more substance now to please the avidly curious.

Not an End, but a New Beginning.

It always amazes me how quickly a computer can snowball.  Now that the machine is getting closer to being fully operational once more, I look forward to wrapping up the latest chapter of Ernest Demon. 

Back to the Keys.

So it would seem...  Another draft this time for the sandbox arc is complete.  Ernest Demon is progressing at it's usual pace. 

I'm sure at some point there will be better integration... and hopefully in the future any free-content that might be made on some form of schedule can be done ahead of time and then released automatically...

But that's far ahead.  Next segment should be done soon as the bones are finished.

Another late night. It's what we do.

So I should've been in bed hours ago.  Ah well. 

Progress has been a bit slow on the latest chapter.  You know how when an artist gets distracted and spends several hours or days just drawing a random thing?  Well writers can get like that too. 

Messing around with web tools, studying and dealing with the challenges of life ...  It's a busy life.

Work on the next chapter is progressing a bit slowly.  But a lot of research for other projects have succeeded well enough.  So it's a bit of a fair trade... I guess?

Right well, time to see how much sleep I can get.  Or more like how much of my day will be eaten by sleep.

When my fingers touch the keys,
they know not where to go.
Though the heart hears the song,
my hands don't move.

I can imagine what it is,
that I wish to play.
But the fingers are still,
quivering,
silent they stay.

If I let them wander,
they truly do.
Not like jazz,
or off waltz tune.

They meander and explore,
like the body of a new lover.
Questing for that which is desired.
Occasionally a tune,
but it rarely transpires.

When my fingers touch the keys,
those black and white windows
to a world of chords and minstrels,
they pause,
Perhaps in awe
or respect.

Notes on Progress.

The last couple of months have been rough.  I now have some time to get back on the ernest demon blog project...  Between me and Suizo, we've been trying to figure out a lot of things dealing with company construction and where the blog project will eventually go.  Though it would be nice to think that we could live off of just posting, reality states we need to consider a lot of things before such an exciting adventure can really get off.  And feed us.

That aside, revision of bones for chapter 6 is in place...  A major concern right now is lack of an illustrator... I'm not the greatest artist out there, but I would like to have illustrations for the story character page.  I'm starting to consider sucking it up and drawing them out anyways... 

We're approaching the development with small steps and goals we know we can achieve that will lead to improvements and bigger goals later.  The fact that we even got to chapter 5 in relative order still amazes me.  It's messy (well the blog is anyways).  It's bare (definitely needs more work).  And all this deja-vu isn't helping either... But it's being worked on.
