Yes it's been a while. Of course much as gone on. This isn't exactly a diary so I'll spare the personal details. Writing wise the Ernest Demon project has developed to it's 5th chapter! And the blog now looks better than ever before. We have learned new tricks, got new web tools in and got to the 5th chapter.
Chapter 6 is on the drawing board. It's 'bones' - or the basic frame work is on display for both me and Suizo to examine. Right now it's missing a few pieces and needs to go through several phases of drafting.
Lately I've found the need to take a break and do other things. Returning to this project soon.
How did the journey through the steam engine romantic lands go? Well. It didn't go far. Got to the boarder and was shot down by bad weather. Then struggled with spoiled rations as I traveled through the inhospitable mountains. Overhead, the war continued as normal and your ever friendly neighborhood air pirates were busy devouring the scraps.
Needless to say, my stay was short.
After passing through I was struck with a severe bout of sickness. Though chapter 5 was completed between the swings of recovery and illness, I fear that the pattern will continue for some time... Thankfully it's not Malaria.
Met a Bard at a tavern. He talked over his tankard about the stories he, and other odd characters survived through attempts to enjoy some adventuring. Tough life that.
Plan to continue my journey through life and see about penning down a few particular tales that have been on the back burner and need to be worked on. Right now the crossroads show a plethora of cards, all requesting attention. Like a conductor, I hope to bring order to their babble and create music.
As for the day of Hearts which has come to pass.
Eat hardy your black noodles.
And share your chocolate kisses.
Today another impossible list,
Has nearly been finished.
Tomorrow will roll over
And bring new repetition.
